Our Mission
Drive Away Parkinson's Inc. has been established to promote awareness about and raise money to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease. This nonprofit organization will conduct fundraising events and donate the proceeds to companies actively looking for a cure for Parkinson's Disease.

Operation Beachhead
It is a hard thing for me to admit that I am disabled. Especially since my DBS surgery. I feel so good. But the truth of the matter is I am. It is a good thing my friend Richie new it. Richie and a few other friends are volunteers with a wonderful organization called Operation Beachhead.
Operation Beachhead is a non-profit organization based at the Jersey Shore providing adventurous, yet safe, all-season sports for veterans, active duty troops, and individuals with disabilities. A number of years ago Richie invited me to their ice hockey event in Old Bridge.
This summer I have been going to their beach event. This is where they get me in the water surfing with a guide. I am not a beach or water person but this makes me feel ALIVE! I love it.
